A WOMAN and a baby have been rushed to hospital after a motorbike crashed into them in a hit-and-run.
Cops are urgently hunting for the driver after the incident in Eltham Hill just after 3pm yesterday.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called shortly after 15:00hrs on Thursday, 11 May to reports of a motorbike in collision with two pedestrians on Eltham Hill, SE9.
“Officers attended and found a 29-year-old woman and an 18-month-old child – who was in a buggy – injured.
“They were both taken to a south hospital by the London Ambulance Service; their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“The rider failed to stop at the scene, and enquiries remain ongoing to locate them.
“Road closures are in place.
“Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference CAD 4687/11May.”
