Wacky theory UFOs could be billionaires secretly visiting from another planet explodes after Bezos and Branson’s mission

A WACKY theory that UFOs could be billionaires secretly visiting from another planet exploded when a hilarious Facebook post went viral.

Molly Elizabeth sent the internet wild when she jokingly asked users "what if UFOs are just billionaires from other planets" in a post that's now clocked 2.4k likes and 37k shares.

This comes as billionaires Sir Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos made blasted themselves into space last week – sparking a torrent of hilarious responses.

"I wonder if these billionaires think about their staff getting paid a decent wage & building a hospital or 2 rather than travelling into outer space," one user wrote.

Others said Branson and Bezos were be "poor aliens".

"Those are poor aliens, rich aliens travel to another dimension," another added.

This comes as social media users made fun of Bezos' space craft, which had an uncanny resemblance to Austin Powers' penis-shaped rocket.

To make matters worse, it turns out Bezos may not even get his astronaut wings after the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) amended its eligibility criteria on July 20 – the same day the Amazon titan shot into space.

The agency states: “Commerical launch crew members must also demonstrate activities during a flight that were essential to public safety, or contributed to human space flight safety.”

Before the guidance was issued, Bezos and his crewmates would’ve gained their astronaut wings, CNN reports.

This is because they flew to an altitude of at least 50 miles which is the recognized boundary of space.

A spokesperson for the FAA told the news outlet that the ruling was amended because it "aligns more directly to the FAA's role to protect public safety during commercial space operations".

Branson gained his astronaut wings after reaching an altitude of 90km as he made history to become the first billionaire in space on July 11.
