Peterborough County OPP say a stray bullet struck a home south of Peterborough on Sunday.

Around 4 p.m., officers found a bullet on the living room floor of a home on Providence Line in Otonabee-South Monaghan Township just southwest of the city’s limit.

The stray bullet appeared to have gone through the roof and ceiling of the home, police say.

No injuries were reported.

Officers located a bullet hole on the west side of the residence. Police believe the bullet travelled from an area northwest of the home.
