Philadelphia man busted for New Jersey locker room theft spree

A Philadelphia man has been busted in connection with a spree of locker room thefts from gyms across New Jersey, police said.

Milton Brown, 49, was charged this week with burglary, theft and criminal trespass after he allegedly broke into a locker at HackensackUMC Fitness and Wellness Center in Maywood, NJ, on Oct. 23, cops said.

Mayood police Detective William Phayre was credited for making the collar after pursuing multiple leads, Detective Sgt. Matthew Parodi told The Post.

“Due to Detective Phayre’s diligent investigation, [Brown] was identified as the suspect in this incident, along with him being a suspect in approximately five other similar incidents within New Jersey,” he said in a statement.

Brown, who had a previous burglary and theft arrest out of Saddle Brook, NJ, in 2003, was released pending a future court date.
