 A 37-year-old man died on Christmas Eve after falling to his death from a 20-storey residential tower block in Manchester.  

The incident happened at Thorn Court in the Salford area of the city at 11.29pm last night.

Fire and ambulance services also attended the scene, but the man had sadly died.

The 20-storey residential block is on Belvedere Road, which was closed in both directions while police attended the scene.

GMP say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
