A MAN has today been charged with the rape and kidnap of a teen girl in Mitcham.
Kadian Nelson, 26, was arrested after the alleged attack at 7am on Tuesday.
He is due to appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court today.
The teenage girl, whose age hasn't been released, is being supported by officers.
Police were scrambled to Mitcham in South London after the alleged early morning attack.
Nelson was arrested at around 8pm in Tooting after an image was circulated by police.
He had been urged by police to hand himself in "for his own safety".
