The unnamed Audi driver said: ‘I had a domestic accident. The car went, well I went with it, into the swimming pool because of a mechanical problem.
‘Sorry, but we now have to hire a crane which will block the road for a while.’
Footage was then released of the SUV being lifted from the pool by a crane.

In the video, uploaded to Instagram by ‘Supercars Crash Argentina’, viewed 50,000 times, the dripping Audi Q5 is seen being raised from the pool as a woman laughs about the incident.
