The camera pans round to a younger woman – wearing a hat, glasses and a crop top – dancing in a more reserved fashion.

The three-man band can be seen behind the young dancer, made up of a guitarist, a drummer playing a large box and what appears to be a violinist.

As a band member begins to sing, the elderly lady surprises a nearby reveller with a high-reaching front kick – and he lets out a grin.

The woman keeps his attention for the rest of the clip as she continues to dance.

Her swaying only comes to an end when the song cuts out and she claps the band’s vocalist.

The footage was posted on Facebook by Martin Leodis on February 16 with the caption ‘live every day like it’s your last.’

Positive comments flooded in, with people praising the woman’s good spirit.

Amber Strike commented: ‘She can dance!! You go girl!! whoop whoop!!’

Another user, who claimed she knew the lady, said she was ‘well into her 80s’.

Debra Somerton wrote: ‘Wonderful lady such a star.’

And Linda Murphy added: ‘Granny goals.’
