‘I do 10,000x more than this… and I’m unemployed!’ Businesswoman, 30, who runs $200M company portfolio is ruthlessly mocked for sharing ‘insane’ work schedule (which includes mani-pedis, workouts and ‘walk breaks’)
- Leila Hormozi shared her routine online and bragged how it made her successful
- The 30-year-old blocks out time to eat with her husband as well as working out
- She has been mocked by thousands online who say her job could ‘disappear’
- Leila herself says her days are ‘insanely boring,’ but that is how she gets ahead
A businesswoman with a multimillion-dollar company portfolio has been ruthlessly mocked online for sharing her ‘insane’ work schedule – which includes time for mani-pedis, a daily walk, coffee breaks and two-hour gym workouts.
Leila Hormozi, 30 – managing partner and CEO of business investment company Acquisition.com who says she runs a $200million portfolio of businesses – posted her ‘non-woke’ schedule on Twitter to show that there’s no substitute for hard work.
But her post – and the screenshot – was immediately seized upon by commenters who ridiculed her self-described ‘insane’ daily routine to ‘get sh*t done’ is to ‘do the work’, by pointing to time she blocked off to deal with email, go on daily walks, time specifically scheduled for coffee breaks and daily gym sessions – some of which are two hours long – and dinner every night.
Others questioned the actual value of her company.
Leila Hormozi, 30, bragged about her empire with her husband Alex on Twitter and posted her calendar on the social media website
Commenters seized on her claim last month that the company she now says is worth $200million was then worth $100million – half what she now says.
Part of her routine means that she gets up at four or five in the morning and doesn’t check her email or social media.
She claims that she grabs a coffee before getting ‘deep’ into her work, before hitting the gym for around an hour and not showering.
One person said to her: ‘I do 10000x more than this, and I’m unemployed’.
Another chimed in: ‘This could have been an email’.
The post has received more than three thousand replies and seven thousand retweets, as many poke fun at her ‘light’ schedule.
Despite claiming she isn’t woke Leila has faced a backlash online over her tweet – in which she says she prefers to ‘take action’ rather than journal, ice bath or use red light therapy.
MONDAY TO WEDNESDAY: She claims that her schedule was jam-packed in a screenshot of her Google Calendar, which she shared online before being mocked ruthlessly
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY: She claims that her schedule was jam-packed in a screenshot of her Google Calendar, which she shared online before being mocked ruthlessly
Leila also blocks out time in her day to eat with her husband Alex, who started their now joint business, as well as for coffee and walks
Thousands of people have poked fun at her, with Leila herself saying that her days are ‘insanely boring’ but that is how she gets ahead.
One said: ””I get an hour for lunch every day and I’m off having dinner by 7″ is not the flex you think it is.’
Another added: ‘Looks like you work about 40 hours a week and get several breaks throughout the work day.’
A teacher commented: ‘This is so much less work than I do as a teacher I’m actually depressed now.’
Leila also revealed that she and her husband eat out for most of their meals to ‘decompress’ and have a cleaner to look after their property.
She has been mocked by thousands online who say her job could ‘disappear’ and that unemployed people work harder than she does
Others pointed out that she appears to only have one shower a week, and added: ‘She barely does any work.
‘How did she think she was proving anyone wrong about how bosses barely do any work?’
Another person called her ‘pompous’ while a third claimed ‘your job could disappear and no one would notice.’
The post has received more than three thousand replies and seven thousand retweets, as many poke fun at her ‘light’ schedule. Others pointed out that she claimed to have a $100million portfolio the month prior
One person implied that she wanted ‘attention’ from the post as well as being accused of doing ‘less’ than her employees
