A woman was killed and a man injured in a broad daylight shooting in Harlem Saturday afternoon, police said.

The shooting happened at around 12:40 p.m. inside a first-floor hallway of a building at West 150th Street and Frederick Douglass Blvd., police said.

The unidentified woman, who was in her 20s or 30s, was shot in the torso and rushed to Harlem Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.

The 26-year-old male victim was struck in the upper left shoulder and abdomen and taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, said cops, who described the man as uncooperative.

Shootings have continued to surge in the city in 2021, up 24 percent, from 25 to 31 over the same period in 2020, data show.

The number of gunshot victims nearly tripled, with 36 so far this year compared to 28 during the same snapshot in 2020, a 29% increase, the numbers show.

Murders in the Big Apple spiked 125% in the first 10 days of 2021 compared to the same period in 2020, increasing from four to nine, according to the stats.
