X Factor winner Dalton Harris was almost beaten by Anthony Russell as the pair were neck and neck throughout the whole show

The figures show Louis Tomlinson's boys were each other's stiffest competition throughout the show – with runner-up Scarlett Lee failing to ever top the leader board.

The numbers also reveal that winner Dalton scooped an impressive 41.3% of last night's vote, with Scarlett securing second place with 31.3%.

Anthony scraped behind with 27.4% of the vote – despite being Dalton's toughest competitor from the start.

Scarlett's jaw-dropping performance with Leona Lewis clearly swayed the public who had voted Anthony higher than the 20-year-old in every stage of the competition before the final.

Dalton and Anthony were neck-and-neck after every live show, with sometimes less than 1% in it.

Liverpool born Anthony reigned supreme Week 1, Week 2 and Week 4, while Dalton topped the board Week 3, Week 5, Week 6, before winning the entire show.

Meanwhile it's been revealed Dalton won't be getting the £1 million record deal once handed out to winners.

The Jamaican crooner will still receive a Syco record deal, but Simon Cowell isn't parting with his cash like he used to.

Since 2011, it's believed winners get an initial advance of £150,000 for their first album.
