THIS Morning are going green and have revealed they have bought a forest.
Holly Willoughby and Phil Schofield made the big reveal when they broadcasted the ITV daytime show live from the woodland.
Where is This Morning's forest location?
In September 2021, This Morning revealed they had bought a forest.
The exact location of the woodland is yet to be disclosed by the broadcaster.
Throughout this week (November 1 to 4) This Morning is showing its support for the COP26 climate conference by sharing easy ways you can do your bit for the planet.
It ties in with the Queen's Green Canopy initiative – which invites the public to plant a tree ahead of the 2022 Platinum Jubilee.
Why did This Morning buy a forest?
It has been revealed the programme bought a forest as part of a drive to "go green" and stop the woodland from ever being built on.
Phil told viewers: "Covid has made us all appreciate the natural world all around us, and we thought we would like to continue that newfound appreciation by doing our little bit to help the planet."
TV presenter Julia Bradbury admitted the forest, which is home to deer, rabbits, and other wildlife, as well as a number of different plants and flowers, is part of the show's plan to "really, really go green".
Presenting a segment from the woodland she said: "It's a pine forest, essentially.
"But the plan over the next few years is to plant more trees and increase the biodiversity here as well.
"We've got foxgloves and we've got bluebells that will be here in season.
"There are muntjac deer around here, there are rabbits, there are field mice, there are all sorts of important creatures.
"This forest is going to help sustain them and protect them for years to come.
"It lies at the heart of the This Morning plans to really, really go green."
