This Morning viewers have asked bosses for a permanent change on the lineup.

On Monday's show (April 10), viewers took to social media to express how they loved Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle on the show.

Josie and Craig were presenting the programme as the usual hosting lineup were taking an Easter break.

Many praised the presenting pair – and expressed they wanted the duo to star on the lineup full-time.

One put: "Can Craig and Josie replace Holly & Phil? #ThisMorning"

Another fan asked: "Can we have Craig & josie as presenters Fulltime #ThisMorning"

While a third stated: "#ThisMorning Craig Dishy Doyle and Josie gorgeous Gibson No 1 couple"

"Nice to see Josie and Craig on today. Make them permanent ffs. #ThisMorning," another complimented.

Others wrote "Craig and Josie #ThisMorning" and "#ThisMorning Wow! Josie looks stunning this morning".

While another ranted: "#ThisMorning Record viewing figures this week with these decent duo on Craig & Josie get rid of that Smugfield and squeaky face.

This comes after their This Morning co-star Alison Hammond revealed she's "truly sorry" for making light of singing in theatre ban.

The ITV host's apology comes after she debated whether audiences singing along in theatres while professional actors performed on stage should be banned and said the rule was "devastating."

Industry professionals have branded Alison's comments "incredibly stupid" and she has since publicly apologised.

She wrote on Twitter: "After reflection and the comments I made on Wednesday’s show I want to apologise to anyone who I offended especially the incredibly talented theatre performers, who I have the utmost respect for.

"I had no idea the level of disruption audiences were causing and tried to make light of the topic on Wednesday’s show, and for that I’m truly sorry.

"I am a great supporter of theatre and the arts and would never sing at the top of my lungs at any performance, I was wrong in what I said and I’ve given this a lot of thought over the past few days and believe I was wrong.

"On Thursday evening I attended a performance of the GBBO the musical which I absolutely loved and gave a standing ovation, theatre is a magical experience for me and my family."

"I want to use my platform for good as always and want to stand up with the performers, front of house and theatre staff especially after seeing what happened at The Bodyguard in Manchester, which has made me sick to my stomach.

"Once again I am truly sorry but trust me I will do better in the future."
