‘The Twilight Zone’: Greg Kinnear To Star In Episode Of CBS All Access Reboot

Greg Kinnear is entering The Twilight Zone. The Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning actor will appear in “The Traveler” episode of the CBS All Access reboot, opposite previously announced Steven Yeun. He joins host and narrator Jordan Peele and cast members John Cho, Sanaa Lathan, Kumail Nanjiani, Adam Scott, Allison Tolman and Jacob Tremblay.

There’s no word on the storyline.

The CBS All Access series will be a modern reimagining of the original, which premiered in 1959 and continued through 1964.

The Twilight Zone is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Simon Kinberg’s Genre Films. Jordan Peele and Simon Kinberg serve as executive producers along with Win Rosenfeld, Audrey Chon, Carol Serling, Rick Berg and Greg Yaitanes.

Kinnear can currently be seen in the sixth season of Netflix’s House of Cards. He was recently booked to play Bob Hope in dramedy Misbehaviour, which is based on the true story of the 1970 Miss World contest — hosted by comedian Hope — and its disruption by the newly founded Women’s Liberation Movement. His other TV credits include Amazon’s Electric Dreams, Fox’s legal series Rake, Modern Family, The Kennedys and HBO film Confirmation, among others. His starring role in James L. Brooks’ As Good As It Gets earned him Oscar, Golden Globe and Screen Actors’ Guild nominations.
