The Chase fans slam bosses after contestants face 'impossible' questions

THE Chase fans have branded the show as a "fix" after contestants were given "impossible" questions on the popular game show.

Thursday evening's episode of the ITV quiz show saw Dominic, Georgina, Janet and Leroy join forces to take on one of the country's finest brains – but the episode was soon ridiculed by viewers.

Fans of the show couldn’t help but call out the ridiculous questions the contestants were bombarded with after Janet struggled to add to the jackpot.

Host Bradley Walsh asked the contestant, as well as Chaser Paul Sinha: "What is the approximate weight of the Earth in kilograms?"

Left bewildered by the immensely difficult question, Janet took a complete guess, but luck was not on her side as she incorrectly selected: “Six sextillions.”

“I don’t even know what that even means," affirmed Bradley, before revealing: "The correct answer is six septillions. Fancy not knowing that."

But he was stunned as Paul correctly answered the question, but even the quizzer admitted that it was a guess.

Curious, Bradley asked the genius: “How would you work out the weight of anything like that?”

But The Sinnerman was just as stumped, as he replied: “Oh, I don’t know.”

And fans soon flooded to Twitter to share their outrage at the “impossible” question, with some labelling the show as a "fix".

Alongside an array of angry faced emojis, one person penned: "The Chase rolling out the impossible questions stop any progress. It's so blatant."

Echoing their comments, someone else said: "How the holy hell was Janet supposed to know the weight of the earth? Absolutely ridiculous."

While a third remarked: "Janet was done up like a kipper. Those questions were totally guessing ones. What a fix."

It's not the first time that The Chase has been embroiled in a fix row.

Fans previously kicked off as a team lost a whopping £70,000 after Mark Labbett was given "easy questions".
