TV presenter AJ Odudu has shared an image of a nasty foot injury as she prepares for the Strictly Come Dancing launch this weekend.
AJ posted the pic on her instagram page, captioning the snap: "I feel like all my toes are broken. YAAAAY! Only for you @bbcstrictly only for you."
The 33-year-old also posted a video of herself looking svelte in a dance studio mirror wearing a blue cord training outfit, telling her followers: "Hello, day one in the dance studio darlings!"
The presenter, who has appeared on shows such as Big Brother's Bit on the Side, The Big Breakfast and Married at First Sight UK: Afters, also added to her almost 100,000 followers: "And, I've got a plaster on my feet already, I'm in agony!
"But it's really fun!" before doing a thumbs-up gesture to the camera.
"I feel like all my toes are broken," AJ joked, before adding that she was "only joking", admitting she was more than happy to be dancing.
Fifteen couples will take part on this year’s series, rather than last year’s 12.
However, the show won’t travel to Blackpool for the second consecutive year, as social distancing is not possible in the backstage area.
AJ will appear on this year’s edition of Strictly alongside newly announced stars John Whaite, Robert Webb and Rhys Stephenson.
Speaking to the press recently, AJ said: "We're not going to Blackpool this year, but that would have been the milestone, which is about week nine."
She added: "I don't want to get too ahead of myself at all. The whole cast are absolutely incredible. I am a complete novice, complete beginner, I'm definitely one of those people who think they can dance, after I've had a couple of drinks like everyone, so let's see what happens. It's a milestone being on Strictly 2021 anyway, so I already feel amazing."
