Spoilers: Phil fights Denise for Raymond custody in EastEnders?

It seems like Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) isn’t yet ready to give up his fight in EastEnders, despite having won the battle with Ellie Nixon (Mica Paris) over his son Raymond.

The plan to trick Ellie into thinking there had been drugs planted at one of her properties ahead of police raids worked and caused her to sign Raymond legally over to Denise Fox (Diane Parish).

As Ellie left in fury without a penny, Phil watched as Denise emotionally welcomed Raymond and promised to look after him.

He doesn’t yet know who Denise is but they seemed to bond as they went inside and Phil was filled with emotion.

As Callum Highway (Tony Clay) indicated that this meant job done, Phil responded ‘for now’ before declaring very firmly that Raymond is HIS son.

As Callum and Ben (Max Bowden) looked on with concern, Phil looked firmly at Denise’s home.

Is he planning on now fighting her for custody of Raymond – and are they set to fall out over what is best for their son?

And how will Denise react when Phil reveals the fighting is far from over?

Will she regret ever helping him in the first place?
