Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) finds himself struggling once more in EastEnders, and thus he calls abuser Katy Lewis (Simone Lahbib) and reveals that he needs to see her.
Mick was horrified when — after claiming to be his daughter — Frankie (Rose Ayling-Ellis) revealed that her mum was care-worker, Katy.
This revelation resulted in them both realising that Mick was abused, as he would’ve only been 12 when Frankie was born.
The former pub landlord came face-to-face with Katy several weeks ago, but she denied that Frankie is his daughter.
What’s more, she refuted everything that he said, which resulted in him questioning his own memory.
Mick continues to struggle in the coming episodes, and he returns home with a bruised eye.
He informs Linda (Kellie Bright) that he was mugged, and desperately wants to pretend that everything is fine.
However, later in the week, he’s desperate to talk and therefore calls Katy.
He confides in her that seeing her has taken him right back to his childhood, and thus he’s feeling lost and confused.
He continues to open up, telling Katy how desperate he’s become.
