Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) threatened Ben Mitchell’s (Max Bowden) freedom in EastEnders tonight (November 17) in order to persuade Callum ‘Halfway’ Highway (Tony Clay) to let him go.
With Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) having reported the heist to the police, DI Thompson (Phillip Wright) and Callum raced to the scene of the crime — but not before Callum dropped Ben a text warning him to get out.
Meanwhile, Kush found himself getting carried away in the thrill of it all, as he assisted Phil (Steve McFadden) and Ben in gaining access to the classic cars.
However, the security guard returned earlier than Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) had expected, and as she and Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) hightailed it out of there, they warned Phil of the impending danger.
Kush refused to leave until he hot-wired the final car, but Kat apologised and headed off with Phil — leaving her beau all on his own.
Callum and a fellow copper found Kush, but the market trader managed to escape to the third floor of the building.
Callum located him once more, but informed back-up that he’d been unsuccessful.
The copper read Kush his rights as he arrested him, but Kush told him if he didn’t let him go, then he’d take Ben down with him.
Callum was in shock at Kush’s ultimatum, but what will he do?
