Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) in Coronation Street is struggling hugely with the news that Johnny (Richard Hawley) has a dark criminal past.
Despite her best efforts to keep strong after Johnny tells her how bad he feels for ruining the life of a security guard, Carla (Alison King) later finds Jenny in tears.
However bad things must feel for her now, Jenny’s problems aren’t over yet, as her relative is set to arrive soon, someone the Coronation Street audience knows nothing about.
After Johnny fails to make Jenny accept that he’s almost certainly going to prison, Jenny tells him her stepdaughter Daisy has called and she and her boyfriend are coming for lunch.
Daisy and her boyfriend Tayo arrive for lunch. Johnny ends up telling Daisy about Aidan’s (Shayne Ward) death, his affair with Liz (Beverley Callard) and how Jenny tried to run her over, which leaves Daisy quietly enjoying Jenny’s discomfort.
Jenny insists Daisy and Tayo stay for dinner and things soon escalate when Johnny and Jenny start arguing.
It sounds like Daisy may be out to cause trouble, so how will she affect Jenny’s situation as her stress continues with Johnny?
