AS parties are organised throughout the UK for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, the Square also gets ready to celebrate.
But the celebrations won't stop any of the usual EastEnders drama from unfolding.
Royalty pays Albert Square residents a visit as the Queen's Platinum Jubilee is due to be celebrated from Thursday, June 2 to Sunday, June 5.
EastEnders characters are bringing celebrations to the screens this week.
In April, 2022, the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall were seen on the set of the long-running BBC One soap and will be portraying themselves in future scenes of the program.
Coming up, Mick Carter (played by Danny Dyer) and Linda (Kellie Bright) prepare for their surprise visitors.
Meanwhile, the residents throw themselves into the Jubilee celebrations, unaware they're in for a gleeful shock.
In later scenes, the partygoers can't believe their eyes as Mick and Linda greet their special guests while Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles make their entrance.
Residents are in complete awe as Mick and Linda introduce Their Royal Highnesses to everyone.
They then proceed to share a toast to Her Majesty The Queen who celebrates seven decades on the throne.
