2. Stacey collapses

The royal visit is bound to make may characters happy including former Vic landlady Linda who is reputed for being a diehard fan of the royal family.

But before the regal visitors can celebrate the Platinum Jubilee with Walford residents, Stacey Slater (portrayed by Lacey Turner) is in danger.

After finding out her daughter Lily has been taken some of Jean's (played by Gillian Wright) bipolar medication, Stacey believed she had no choice but to call an ambulance to make sure the youngster wasn't in any danger.

But prior to this, Stacey had a nasty exchange with her mother, snapping at her in the process.

This led to Jean pushing her into the bar but Stacey decided nobody needed to know about the attack.

Coming up, Stacey returns from the hospital with her daughter Lily (Lillia Turner).

Stacey dismisses Jean's worries about her injury although is hopeful to see her so concerned as it could be a sign of the cleaner getting better.

Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), on the other hand, doesn't get her hopes up.

When she sees Stacey's wound, the owner of Kat's Cabs wonders if Jean should go back to hospital.

Outside, Stacey then bumps into her former flame Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol) who sees that something is not right with her.

She eventually reveals what Jean did to her… before collapsing and leaving Kheerat horrified.

An ambulance is called and Kheerat is worried to hear that Stacey could be developing sepsis.

Knowing her life is at risk, the businessman tells the doctor what happened between her and her mother Jean.

Could there be trouble ahead for Jean?

3. Linda buys a new business

Meanwhile, Linda is as excited for the Jubilee as she is to make the most of the money Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) gave her to get out of Walford.

However, she finds out the Walford villain went to despicable lengths to pull her away from Mick.

Coming up, Linda is first tempted to buy a bottle of wine but Rainie Highway (Tanya Franks) advises her against it.

In order to cope, Linda turns to the Square's Jubilee celebrations while Janine is frustrated to see Mick delighted with her hosting of a planning meeting.

Feeling positive, she then decides to use her new cash to expand The Vic's business but is deflated when Mick implies her can't trust her.

However, luck soon knocks on her door.

As Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) is piling the pressure on her to give her money, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) has resorted to putting her salon up for sale.

She tells her sister Kim (Tameka Empson) about needing an investor and an eavesdropping Linda, who fights the urge to have a drink, pounces on the opportunity.

Later on in Ruby's, Linda approaches Denise and Kim and offers to invest in the salon.

The pair deliberate and, upon agreeing, are shocked when Linda offers £50k by the end of the day.

While Jack is sceptical about Linda's investment, Denise reassures him and Linda signs the contract, thus becoming the new co-owner of the salon.

All is well and Linda celebrated her new investment with her family and Janine.

But when her daughter Nancy (Maddy Hill) receives a call, learning the estate agents never received the money for her own dream business, Linda puts two and two together, realising Janine gave her money she had stolen.

Linda confronts Janine and threatens to tell Nancy the truth.

How will Janine react?

4. Sharon kicks Zack out

Speaking of Nancy, her boyfriend Zack Hudson (James Farrar) lands himself into some trouble of his own and his half-sister Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) kicks him out of her home.

This is all because of troublemaker Jada Lennox (played by Kelsey Calladine-Smith).

This week, Zack and Nancy continue their plans for the restaurant and as she leads on décor, she asks her other to pick up the keys for their new venture.

Meanwhile, Jada is sad after losing her job at the salon but Zack soon tries to cheer her up and the pair bond over their respective childhoods.

He decides to take her on a trip into London to visit some famous sights in a bid to lift her spirits a little more – and forgets to follow through with Nancy's request.

The latter is furious when she learns Zack didn't pick up the keys and her reaction leaves Jada unimpressed.

She tries to comfort Zack but, as she misinterprets the situation, leans for a kiss.

A mortified Zack plays it down, not wanting to embarrass her – but the rejection costs him the roof over his head.

Once Sharon returns home, he finds out Jada her that Zack kissed her.

Zack immediately suffers the consequences and is thrown out.

Will Sharon find out the truth?

5. Suki is stunned by a returning family member

Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and her family have taken a backseat from all the ups and downs in the Square.

But the surprise return of one of their own, Ash Panesar (played by Gurlaine Kaur Garcha), spells good news for them.

Coming up, Suki talks about Ash with Dotty and Vinny as she is about to celebrate her 30th birthday.

Later on, she is shocked when Ash unexpectedly comes back to the Square and proceeds to make amends with her.

The doctor didn't leave Albert Square on good terms with Suki as their dysfunctional relationship took a turn when Suki slept with Peter Beale (Dayle Hudson).

All seems well for the Panesars – until Suki receives a strange letter.

She tenses as she reads and later asks former solicitor Eve Unwin for legal advice.

What could she be afraid of?

6. Rainie struggles to cope

Elsewhere in Walford, Rainie Highway reel from the shock of finding out her husband Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) is struggling to form a relationship with Roland.

But she's keeping the truth for Roland's surrogate mother Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris).

This week, Bernie watches on as Rainie takes her family for a picnic and when Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) spots her, she shares some words of advice with her.

While at home, Rainie is shocked to learn just how much Stuart is
struggling with his postnatal depression.

Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) later checks in on Rainie and Bernie has some shocking news to break to her.

The youngster reveals that she has started the process of getting Roland’s official parental order being signed, meaning Rainie and Stuart will soon be recognised as Roland's legal parents.

Although she has been dreaming of having her own family, the news fills Rainie with dread.

Will she tell Bernie about Stuart's depression?
