Piers Morgan has praised Meghan Markle following her recent trip to South Africa, believing she should ‘stop being woke’.
Meghan Markle recently met young women in Nyanga township, where she was photographed dancing and giving a passionate speech to the locals.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, after criticising the Duchess of Sussex on countless occasions, Piers praised Meghan in slightly sarcastic fashion.
Referring to her recent trip to South Africa, Piers said: ‘Here’s my message to the royal couple, just do that. Just go and literally dance, smile, hug babies, be nice.
‘Meghan’s a good little dancer, do your thing, and that’s all you have to do and the public will love you, alright?
‘If you want to bang on about politics and lecture us on how to lead our lives, and lead completely different lives yourselves, the public won’t like it.
‘Let’s just hope, fingers crossed, they keep doing that. And if they start banging on about their issues, it’ll all go horribly wrong again.’
He added: ‘Come on you can do it Meghan, just don’t be woke. Be that, be a royal.’
Piers recently accused Meghan of ‘hypocrisy’ regarding her message about compassion, and has previously claimed he’d been ‘ghosted’ by her since she became a royal.
You can catch Good Morning Britain weekdays on ITV at 6am.
