Piers Morgan 'to face Jeremy Clarkson on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire'

Piers Morgan is reportedly going to face Jeremy Clarkson in a celebrity episode of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

The pair – who have a legendary long-held feud – are said to be joining forces for a new episode of the game show fave, burying the hatchet once and for all.

If true, Piers has a wealth of celebrity pals the show creators are hoping he’ll call when stuck and in need of a Phone A Friend lifeline.

‘Piers relying on Jeremy for an answer with Ask The Host will be hilarious viewing,’ a source told The Sun.

‘Piers has asked Susanna, a history buff, and Joan Collins, who has a wealth of general knowledge, to be Phone A Friends. But execs hope Donald [Trump] might also get a call.’

The episode is believed to be airing around the Christmas period.

Piers and Jeremy’s war against each other has been one of showbiz legend, starting back in 2003 when a heated fight on Concorde’s last flight ended with Jeremy throwing a drink over the Good Morning Britain presenter.

In 2004, they ended up fiercely clashing again at the British Press Awards – with Jeremy punching Piers in a now infamous incident.

The incident broke one of Jeremy’s fingers, and Piers later retorted: ‘My three-year-old hits harder than that.’

However, they did later sort out their differences, with the pair having a ‘six-hour drinking session’ to air their issues together.

Let’s just hope that they manage to avoid fisticuffs this time around…
