Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) is not a happy man in upcoming Coronation Street episodes as he discovers Carla Connor’s (Alison King) pals are somewhat turning against her.
This is because of Stephen (Todd Boyce), who started drugging Carla with the intention of making her leave Underworld so he can take over the role of Top Dog.
A few weeks ago, when Carla’s mental health started to show signs of getting worse, Stephen held a meeting with the Underworld workers and pointed out that they can organise a vote of no confidence, if they believe Carla isn’t fit to continue in her role.
Fortunately, thanks to Faye (Ellie Leach), Carla was able to discover what was going on and took great pleasure in sacking Stephen.
Coming up, it appears this time, the Underworld colleagues aren’t as determined to stick up for Carla, as Peter finds Stephen in charge at the factory and accuses the staff of stabbing his wife in the back.
Just as Stephen’s about to sign the American contract, Rufus appears and tells him to tear it up as he wants sole rights to Nippersnapper and if he doesn’t play ball, he’ll tell everyone how he’s been drugging Carla.
IS IT TIME FOR CORONATION STREET’S KILLER STEPHEN REID TO GET CAUGHT?
Caught in a trap, Stephen then lies to Sarah (Tina O’Brien) and tells her that the Americans have pulled out of the contract.
Meanwhile, Peter visits Carla and breaks the news that the factory workers have voted to put Stephen in charge.
Things are just getting worse for both Carla and Stephen, but how bad are things going to get before something changes?
