BBC Breakfast: Charlie and Rachel introduce latest headlines
Naga, 45, was absent from the first-weekend instalment of BBC Breakfast as the presenter enjoyed a day off from her duties. As well as hosting the news show, the journalist also has her own programme on BBC 5 Live for three of the seven days a week so a short break is well needed. Rachel, 46, has stepped in for her colleague on several occasions over the past few months but BBC viewers still seemed quite distracted by her.
Rachel sat alongside Charlie Stayt, 58, to host the Saturday edition of the programme and the pair discussed all the latest headlines from around the world.
The journalist took to Twitter during the show to inform her 78,200 followers, posting a picture of herself with her co-stars.
“Two views. Morning from the sofa @BBCBreakfast,” she wrote as she was seen sitting next to her co-host and then sat two meters part from sports reporter Mike Bushell, 55.
With Naga nowhere to be seen, one viewer wrote: “#BBCBreakfast @rachelburden this morning. Enough said,” followed by a love heart emoji.
Another added: “Morning gorgeous Rachel lovely to see you on breakfast this morning,” whilst a third commented: “Good Morning gorgeous lady.”

Sitting in for Naga on Saturday morning, Rachel sported a pale blue, short-sleeved dress which is also caught the attention of those watching at home.
“Is Rachel going to a tunic party after filming? #bbcbreakfast,” a fourth viewer asked as the presenter left them distracted from the news she was speaking about.
Ahead of her appearance on the programme, the journalist did inform her followers she was going to be holding Naga’s role for the day.
This isn’t unusual as there are several presenters on standby to help things ticking over if one of the main stars is having a day off.

Rachel is not categorised as a main presenter and is referred to as a relief news anchor, alongside the likes of fellow journalist Roger Johnson, 51.
It wasn’t explicitly explained why Naga wasn’t on the programme but with her duties on the radio taking hold from the beginning of this month, this might be why she was absent from the sofa.
From Mondays to Wednesdays, the journalist discusses a range of topical matters with listeners and guests from 10am to 1pm.
Then from Thursdays to Saturdays, she will continue to inform viewers of the latest headlines from around the world.
