Love Island’s Jay Younger has shared the true meaning behind his arm tattoo after fans spotted the beautiful artwork on display on the ITV2 dating show.

Fans of the Scottish hunk were left confused after they spotted some script tattooed on his bicep in Tamil, but it turns out the design means a huge amount of importance to the 28-year-old investment analyst.

His loving siblings – who are running his account while he’s in the villa – explained how the tattoo was in tribute for the Islander’s close friend, Danny Priyadharshan, who sadly passed away.

On Wednesday (June 22), the star’s siblings made a short video explaining the meaning behind the tattoo on TikTok after his Twitter account was flooded with curious messages online.

In the clip, his family explained that the cursive scripture on the inside of his right arm is actually represents the word ‘Brother’ written in Tamil which he got inked back in 2017.

As a carousel of sweet snaps of the pair flashed up on the screen, they explained why he got the artwork all those years ago.

It comes after Jay left fans disgusted with his unusual choice of breakfast after he stood beside Andrew Le Page at the breakfast bar while they prepared their morning meal during last night’s episode.

The TV hunk certainly made sure to turn heads, and stomachs, as he cracked two raw eggs into a glass before he necked the protein drink in one.

Equally grossed out contestant Davide Sanclimenti, commented: “Oh bro, you’re mad,” as viewers rushed to Twitter to agree with the Italian stallion online.
