Love Island's Jacques spotted for the first time since quitting the show as he arrives back in the UK | The Sun

LOVE Island star Jacques has arrived back in the UK overnight after quitting the villa.

The rugby player was snapped at the airport in Leeds by a pal as he made his low key return.

He is expected to return to social media on Thursday but has already caught up with his Castleford team mates.

His old coach Lee Radford joked that he thought he would try to make a couple of million before returning to playing rugby.

Jacques quit the villa in scenes that aired last night after bombshell Adam Collard made moves on his girl.

It had been a tough few days for the 23- year-old after struggling to placate Paige Thorne, 24, over his cheating with other girls during the show’s Casa Amor relationship test.

And his emotions came to a head after villa veteran Adam, 26, made moves on the pretty paramedic.

On last night’s show Jacques erupted after Gemma Owen, 19, told him Adam had “properly slagged him off”.

Jacques, who in another twist actually dated Gemma for eight months during the pandemic, ranted: “If a boy’s going to chat shit behind my back, I don’t f*cking have it.”

After deciding to leave the villa, in scenes shown on last night’s show he told Paige: “You mean so much to me, you know that. I just wish I could finish my journey off with you in here.”

Yesterday afternoon a spokesperson said: “Jacques has made the decision to leave the Villa.

“We fully support his decision and look forward to seeing what’s next for Jacques.” During his time in the villa Jacques was accused of “bullying” and “gaslighting” Paige.

His family shared that the lad from Cumbria struggles with his emotions due to ADHD.
