Fans of Love Island 2019 were left heartbroken following last night’s episode after Ovie Soko broke down in tears.
The breakdown came after the contestants received a text to say it would be a double dumping and they then had to choose which couple went home, Amy Hart and Curtis Pritchard or Lucie Donlan and new boy George Rains.
While discussing it, Ovie begged Anna Vakili to save George so he “wouldn’t be alone in the villa” but the 29-year-old decided to save her pal Amy instead – who later left of her own accord.
When it came to announcing which couple they had voted to boot out, Ovie broke down in tears and Daily Star Online’s Love Island columnist Elma Pazar has a lot to say about it.
“Honestly when he started sobbing I started crying all over again”
Following the heart-wrenching episode, Elma said: “Tonight’s been bloody emotional.”
With tears sliding down her face, she continued: “Ovie’s loyalty to George has to be recognised.
“Honestly when he started sobbing I started crying all over again. I was literally like, ‘This man is a star.’
“He’s a star and he shines so bloody bright and he’s not given enough credit for it. I really rate him for it.”
While Elma had only positive things to say about the professional basketball player, she certainly didn’t have good things to say about her pal Maura Higgins.
Elma and Maura walked into the villa together and became close friends, but it hasn’t held Elma back from sharing her real opinions on her making a move on Curtis.
She said of the new budding romance: “I can’t see it in Curtis and Maura at all.
“I don’t think it’s something that can grow in three weeks either.”
In between sobs over Amy’s exit, Elma continued: “It’s really hard for me.
“I can’t bare them. I physically can’t bear them.”
