The dust hasn’t even settled after Amy Hart’s shock departure from Love Island, but the former air hostess is already a favourite to join the line-up for the next series of Celebs Go Dating.
Amy, 26, made her shock departure from the ITV2 show last night after she admitted she needed “to heal away from the villa” after Curtis Pritchard, 23, dumped her last week.
The pair immediately hit it off when they met on the first night, and were dubbed this series ‘Jack and Dani’.
Curtis quickly asked Amy to be his “half girlfriend” before disaster struck when she was shipped to Casa Amor for a few days.
Admitting his head had been turned when Jourdan Riane entered the villa, he later confessed to Amy he didn’t feel the same way.
Struggling to deal with the demise of their relationship, the blonde beauty explained to her former flame she was leaving the villa in an emotional speech, which was aired last night.
She said: “If we can’t take a meaningful friendship from this – what was the whole point of the first four weeks? So I’m going to have to let you go.
“I’m going to let you pursue whoever it is and let you find what you’ve looking for. You can’t do that with me here, and I can’t heal living in the same house at the moment.”
She continued: “Once this is all done, we will have the best friendship you’ve ever seen in your life.”
And the newly single Amy could be signing up for her next reality TV stint if the bookies’ odds are anything to go by.
Bookies now give her a 1/4 shot of appearing in the next series of Celebs Go Dating.
Elsewhere, a spot on this year’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! looks less likely at 8/1.
Celebs Go Dating has previously cast a considerable number Love Island contestants.
In the past series, Jack Fowler, Georgia Steele and Eyal Brooker have all taken part, while Jack Fincham and Megan Barton-Hanson are set to appear on the show next month.
Maybe Amy will find her prince after all.
