Love Island fans got emotional as David Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu finally made their relationship exclusive.
Sunday evening's (23rd July) show culminated in the shock dumping of four Islanders from the show but things took a lighter turn earlier in the evening when Davide asked Ekin-Su to be his girlfriend by making her a tiramisu with the question "are you mine?" written under it in Italian.
Sitting outside in the garden, the couple were presented the desert by Dami before Davide asked the all important question.
"It says 'sei mio?' which means 'are you mine?' so it's kind of like exclusivity," Davide explains.
"Did you seriously make this?" Ekin-Su responds, adding "wow" once Davide confirms that he did.
"Now if you eat this, it's a yes," he added, as Ekin-Su didn't hesitate and begin to dig into the desert.
"Did you really make this?" Ekin-Su asked again.
Laughing, Davide responded: "Why, is it good?"
"It's so good! So, it's a yes…." Ekin-Su said.
Fans were emotional at the cute moment, taking to social media to share their thoughts.
One wrote: "I must say I love how Davide asked Ekin-su to be exclusive. FOOD, that's the same way to a woman's heart looo none of this rubbish 'go where we had our first kiss'".
Another added: "Davide and Ekin-Su being exclusive has filled my heart".
A third person enthused: "davide and ekin-su are officially exclusive…I LOVE THEM SO MUCH".
Meanwhile, a fourth person wrote: "I've never smiled at a couple becoming exclusive as much as Davide and Ekin-su".
Later in the episode, the show revealed a brutal twist as four Islanders were dumped from the ITV2 villa.
At the end of the episode, contestants discovered that the public had been voting for the most compatible couple and those with the fewest votes risked being dumped.
After each safe couple was revealed, Danica Taylor and Jamie Allen, Nathalia Campos and Reece Ford, and Lacey Edwards and Deji Adeniyi had the lowest votes.
It was then revealed that two couples would be going home with Nathalia and Reece, and Lacey and Deji confirmed to be leaving.
