Love Island fans beg bosses to bring back Movie Night after Casa Amor antics

Love Island viewers are begging producers of the ITV2 dating show to bring back an old favourite to send shockwaves through the villa.

So far this week, we've seen the boys get close to a number of new girls who arrived as part of Casa Amor – including Dami Hope, Andrew Le Page and Davide Sanclimenti, who are all already coupled up.

All three were caught snogging new Islanders, with Andrew and Davide both locking lips with Coco Lodge while Dami smooched Summer Botwe.

Meanwhile, Luca Bish and Jay Younger have also been involved in awkward situations – leading fans to call for the return of Movie Night.

The night sees the reunited Islanders shown clips from Casa Amor, usually causing arguments, drama and a break-up or two.

And after Monday's show, fans want it back soon.

One tweeted: "I really hope they do that movie night thing this year, I want chaos." while a second wrote: "The postcard and movie night INJECT ITTTT"

Luca and Andrew seem to have the most to lose, with users spotting it tweeting: "Cannot wait for Luca's "his love island experience started tonight" quote to be shown on movie night" with another saying: "This whole conversation NEEDS to be shown at movie night oh my… Andrew is really acting up for the boys"

While another person could only think of Andrew's current partner Tasha Ghouri, with a post reading: "See this clip will be perfect for Tasha to see in the movie night"

Meanwhile, the show has already been hit with nearly 800 complaints so far since returning three weeks ago.

An Ofcom spokesperson has told Daily Star that 781 official complaints had been made by fans so far during the 2022 series, relating to a number of different events and topics including bullying and some stars given more screen time than others.

The main themes have been certain contestants being bullied; certain contestants’ wellbeing and mental health; the age gap between certain contestants and certain contestants being given more screen time in the main show edit than others.

A kiss between Gemma Owen, 19, and Davide , 27, sparked almost 200 of complaints earlier this series.

Love Island airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2
