Love Island: Amy Hart leaves viewers in tears as celebrities and former Love Island stars defend her

Amy Hart left Love Island viewers in tears as she made the most emotional speech in Love Island history.

The former air hostess made audiences at home cry their eyes out as she told Curtis Pritchard how much she loved him and how she wanted him to be happy.

Both celebrities and viewers alike tweeted about their admiration for the 26 year old.

Jordan from Ibiza Weekender said: “Big respect to Amy there. That must have been so hard. Hats off to her for putting her well being and Curtis first over the show. A lot of people wouldn’t have done that”.

Ex TOWIE star Mario Falcone tweeted: “I sincerely hope Amy finds love… look after her @LoveIsland”.

Meanwhile, Love Island runner-up Chris Hughes praised her writing: “She’s a sweet hearted girl. That’s sad Amy. Wanted to find love and cared about nothing else. Good for her putting her happiness before anything else.”

OK! online columnist Nadia Essex added: “Amy is my strong, mental health (s)hero!! Putting her MH before fame. I hope I meet her on the outside. I want to love, hug and support her 100%. This is a class act right here.”

Elsewhere, viewers were in floods of tears as they watched Amy tell Curtis why she was leaving the villa.
