Louis Tomlinson looks all partied out as he leaves a club with girlfriend Eleanor Calder at 3.30am after X Factor final

The former One Direction star had good reason to celebrate after his act, Dalton Harris, was crowned this year's champion in Louis' first year as a judge.

Louis changed out of his dapper suit that he wore for the live final, stepping out in a black T-shirt and red tracksuit bottoms to ensure maximum party comfort.

The sweaty star was pictured leaving Chinawhite nightclub with his girlfriend, Eleanor Calder, and another female friend – almost falling over a bicycle as he made his way to his waiting private chauffeur Mercedes Viano.

Bizarrely, there was a large woven hamper on the floor of the vehicle – which appeared to be full of clothes.

Louis was in high spirits as he said goodbye to photographers and onlookers before driving away.

The 26-year-old singer won praise during his first stint as an ITV judge this year, with two of the three acts in this weekend's final being from his category.

As well as eventual winner Dalton, Liverpudlian hopeful Anthony Russell also competed – coming in third place overall.

Other contestants also heaped praise on how much time the 1D star spent with his acts, with Giovanni Spano revealing that he was at the contestants house for up to 14 hours a day and even chips in with advice for other categories.

Speaking to The Sun Online, Giovanni – who was mentored by Ayda Field – shared: "I think he is outstanding, I think he is absolutely wonderful.

"The way he looks after the boys; he is there from 9am until 10 at night – last night I think he left at 11pm or something like that.

"He has been great for the lads, absolutely phenomenal."

Music mogul Simon Cowell also praised Louis' work ethic following Dalton's victory, having previously revealed that he wants him to return as a judge for next year's series of the show.
