Lorraine Kelly revealed she underwent a shoulder operation during the festive period.
The presenter, 63, returned to her hit ITV chatshow Lorraine on Tuesday where she gave a health update and revealed she spent New Year's recovering.
Lorraine revealed the operation happened with keyhole surgery and she is now receiving physiotherapy to help aid with her recovery.
Asked about her Christmas and New Year, the Scottish host said: "I had the most quiet one ever as I had a wee operation on my shoulder, it's been annoying me for ages."
The ITV chatshow then showed a picture of Lorraine with her arm in a sling, she added: "There I am, celebrating Christmas!"
Lorraine went on to thank the medical staff, adding: "Oh my goodness me, keyhole surgery is incredible!
"Just had to remove some calcium and a little bit of bone, yeah, I'm doing my phsyio and I am all fine. We had a really quiet Christmas and New Year!"
Lorraine also gushed about her daughter Rosie Smith's, 28, incredible homemade chocolate orange Christmas pudding on the show.
The presenter also posted a video of the delicious creation to her Instagram, writing: "My girl sure can bake a cake! Delicious."
Proud mother Lorraine also shared a sweet snap of her daughter and her pet sausage dog, Ruby, in front of the Christmas tree.
She penned: "My two beautiful girls!!!" with the presenter's 503K followers quick to respond.
One person said: "Lovely photo. Happy Christmas to you and your lovely family and Angus and ruby sausage xxx."
A different account put: "Happy birthday Lorraine and family enjoy" with celebrating emojis.
Another follower wrote: "Lovely photo merry Christmas!"
While a different fan added: "Merry Christmas to you all."
