Nadia Sawalha has revealed the sweet words co-star Kaye Adams said to her after Nadia cut her off – at a time when she felt "fragile" and "chaotic".
The two Loose Women panelists have been friends for over 20 years, but Nadia once cut Kaye off for a "long time period of time" when she was struggling with her mental health.
Friday's Loose Women (December 10) saw the girls chat about coping with a failed friendship.
Speaking candidly on the time she split from Kaye, Nadia said that she avoided Kaye because her self-esteem was "so low", and she felt "fragile".
She even admitted that she felt "intimidated" by the ITV presenter at the time, explaining that she would ignore Kaye's calls and would prefer to be around more "chaotic" people like herself.
Nadia said: "Kaye and I have been friends for over 20 years but there was a long period of time where I just was a mess.
"I'd had a lot of trauma gone on, I was drinking heavily, Kaye almost intimidate me. Without knowing, without meaning, beacuse she was so sorted and so smart."
Reacting to Nadia's compliments in the studio, Kaye looked around in surprise.
Nadia: "It was a time when I was feeling so fragile and my self-esteem was so low that I avoided you all the time and i wouldn't pick up your calls and I wouldn't call you back."
The mum-of-two added that she preferred to be around more "chaotic" people, as opposed to Kaye who she saw as more 'put together'.
