Mel B has revealed the Spice Girls have their voices insured.
With Mel, Mel C, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton heading off on a reunion tour this year, that insurance was no doubt a handy thing to have.
In the upcoming episode of Celebrity Juice, host Keith Lemon asks Adam Lambert if his voice is insured for millions of dollars.
When the singer denies it, he asks Scary Spice herself who admits: ‘I think I have!’
‘It’s your business, innit,’ Keith agrees, and Mel replies: ‘It is. I think the group has.’
Then with a completely straight face, cheeky Keith asked her: ‘What even Victoria?’
Mel B smirked but didn’t comment while the audience in the studio let out a mixture of laughs and uneasy ‘oohs’.
Let’s hope Mrs Beckham, aka Posh Spice, isn’t a Celebrity Juice fan…
Earlier this year the 90s girl group – minus fashion designer Victoria – wrapped up their 13-date tour at London’s Wembley Stadium.
It was an emotional final show which saw Ginger Spice Geri saying sorry to the rest of the group for quitting the band in 1998.
Addressing the emotional moment on Good Morning Britain, Mel B added: ‘That was a massive deal when Geri apologised.
‘We mentioned it in previous shows and she kind of went blank. But she brought it up and apologised.
‘I think she felt bad but relieved to say sorry and she cried a little bit. I got emotional for once. I gave her a big hug, like “I have to forgive you a little bit now”.’
Their tour was also blighted by the back and forth between Mel B and Geri after Mel claimed she had had sex with her band mate at the height of their fame.
Celebrity Juice continues tonight at 10pm on ITV2.
