KATIE Price thought Kris Boyson was going to pop the question – but he gave her a key to his home instead.
In a clip from My Crazy Life the couple are seen going out for a romantic dinner when Kris decides to have a bit of fun with Katie and pretends he’s going to ask her to marry him by presenting her with a ring box.
The personal trainer says: “Do you know what? We’ve spent loads of time together recently, haven’t we? Like literally, I’ve seen you a lot. Like, more than I’d usually seen anyone. It’s very intense being with you.”
The 40-year-old replies: “We’re like a little family. We’re like a little jigsaw puzzle."
He continues: “You’re so hard-faced and you put on this little front and that stuff like that, but I think you’d want it to go further.
“Sometimes I feel like we should show a bit more commitment.”
He then produces what looks like a ring box – leaving Katie gobsmacked and very sweary.
She says: “You absolute d*** head!” and tells him to “'f*** off”.
As she continues mouthing off, she opens the box only to find the key inside.
Looking delighted with his little joke, Kris replies: “Well you didn’t think it was gonna be a f****** ring, did you?”
But rather than being annoyed Katie is actually really touched by the gesture and tells him: “I love that. You've just given a key to like six of us?!"
She adds: “Thank god it wasn’t a ring and it was a key. I’m not saying it won’t happen one day, but jeez, I’m not even divorced yet!”
Katie and Kris started dating in May 2018 – they briefly split in August before rekindling their romance.
