TOWIE'S Joey Essex has revealed a nasty injury ahead of his Dancing On Ice debut.
The reality TV star, 32, who is paired with Vanessa Bauer, 26, hailed himself "lucky" after the painful mishap.
Joey took to his Instagram Stories while travelling to training in a car.
He wrapped up in a wool hat and black jacket as he scowled at the camera.
He held up the middle finger on his left hand, where a painful red cut could be seen on the inner side.
Joey zoomed into the blemish for greater effect, before adding the caption: "Lucky."

He is one of the celebrity names confirmed in the Dancing On Ice 2023 line-up.
Joey and professional partner Vanessa have previously fuelled romance rumours during their Dancing On Ice training sessions.
Vanessa, 26, posted a three second clip of them celebrating their first full run through of a routine after months of training.
Looking elated that they made it to the end without any tumbles the skating partners shared a warm embrace.

As the pair separated they continued to hold hands while approaching the camera.
Vanessa wrote over the video: "Tired, but first time getting through and showing our routine."
Yet the duo have denied any budding romance.
Vanessa recently addressed the romance rumours swirling around her and Joey directly, insisting their relationship is purely professional.
She told The Sun: "We are just skating partners."
When asked if she could see a romance blossoming in the future, Vanessa added: "No, no, we are just skating partners."
Earlier this month we told how Joey quickly became infatuated by Vanessa after being paired with her for the ITV show – despite being pictured snogging Love Islander Maura Higgins just days earlier.
