JERSEY Shore star Angelina Pivarnick’s divorce from Chris Larangeira has been officially dismissed, The Sun can exclusively reveal.
The exclusive documents show a dramatic about-face in their relationship status-just after the couple was spotted in their hometown enjoying a cozy dinner date with their wedding bands on.
Angelina, 35, had secretly filed for divorce from Chris, 42, in January a little over a year after their 2019 wedding- with fans watching their rocky marriage play out over the course of this season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation.
Documents exclusively obtained by The Sun state that the “complaint in this matter was filed on January 19, 2021. This matter has been pending for four months without the filing of required documentation.”
Since the case had languished for so long without any follow-up, the court's judgment noted it “will dismiss the above case for lack of prosecution without prejudice."
Last week, E! News reported that the couple was spotted out on Wednesday eating together at Ganga Asian Bistro in their hometown of Matawan, New Jersey- and Angelina had her ring on.
The couple’s marital woes have played out on screen with an epic fight between cast members on the current season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
CHEATING RUMORS
In an episode that aired earlier this month, her “cheating video” was released, which her husband refused to watch.
During the most recent season of Jersey Shore, a video began to circulate that made it look like Angelina was cheating on Chris.
Angelina confronted her husband about the video and offered for him to watch it during an episode earlier this month, though Chris refused.
She said in a confessional: “I’m an open book.
"I don’t like to hide secrets and hide s**t, so I decide to let my husband know I have these videos and he said he’s good with not seeing them."
The MTV star continued: "I knew Chris wouldn’t care.
"He didn’t want to see them.”
Angelina added: “My husband is very well aware of what’s going on in my life and what’s going on in his life.
"There are no secrets, you know what I mean. This is our marriage."
The conversation ended on a hopeful note, as Angelina told Chris: “At least we’re moving forward past this.”
Jersey Shore stars Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino learned about the alleged cheating clip earlier in the season, though Angelina has repeatedly denied having a “side boo.”
Throughout the season, Angelina has been open she was having problems in her marriage to Chris.
The pair married in November 2019 in an extravagant televised wedding ceremony.
Speculation of their split began when viewers noticed the two had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
The 35-year-old later revealed to Jenni and Deena Cortese that she feels she failed as the "perfect wife" and that her sex life is "nonexistent" in a recent episode.
During the June 10 episode, Angelina confirmed the split rumors as she confessed to Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino that her husband moved out of their home nearly three weeks earlier.
She said: "We got into a fight and he moved in with his mother and it's been a few weeks now.
"Chris leaving and taking down his stocking, ripping up his ‘Merry Christmas to my wife' card.
"He wanted to see that card ripped up. He wanted to see that stocking gone. Chris wanted me to see all of his clothes gone. For him to do that to me over a fight is just not fair."
