Jennifer Aniston persuaded Days of Our Lives bosses to relocate set to her dad's home to protect him amid covid pandemic

JENNIFER Aniston persuaded Days of Our Lives bosses to move the set to her dad John's home amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Friends star, 51, insisted 87-year-old John's return to his famous role as Victor Kiriakis would be filmed at his exclusive gated community.

A source told The Sun: "When John told Jen he was going back when the soap resumed taping, she immediately put her foot down.

"She insisted that, at his age, he was putting himself at risk by going on set in Burbank.

"Jen persuaded him to talk to producers about taping his scenes at home.

"The execs have agreed. They're having his scene partners chauffeured thee and, of course, tested for Covid prior to arrival."

John first joined the NBC daytime drama series Days of Our Lives in July 1983.

Jen is John's daughter from his first marriage to Nancy Dow.

They are said to have healed their relationship in lockdown, with Jen reportedly forgiving her father John for walking out on her as a child.

She has been ringing him every day amid the coronavirus crisis after realising during the global pandemic that life is "short" and wants her relationship with John "to be the best it can be".
