Jason Orange has vanished and won’t answer calls says Take That’s Howard Donald

Take That’s Howard Donald has revealed that Jason Orange has VANISHED.

Jason, 48, left the band in 2014 after the reunion with Robbie Williams and has gone "off the grid".

Speaking on today’s Loose Women, Howard explained that his former bandmate is "not taking emails or phone calls" and no one is speaking to him.

Robbie Williams reunited on stage with Take That during last weekend’s X Factor final, but Jason was nowhere to be seen.

However, Howard has said the door has been left open for Robbie and Jason to come back into the fold.

He said: "Jason has gone off the grid. He’s not taking emails or phone calls or stuff like that. That’s good for him. That’s where he wants to be. I think he wants to be a million miles away from this at the moment.

"Who knows? In the near future he might decide to change his mind. And if he does he’s welcome back anytime."

Howard told the Loose ladies how Jason and Robbie’s departures had changed the dynamic of the band.

The singer said: "We went from a five to a four, back to a five, down to a three. Us being a three now we’re really comfy.

"When Jason first left it was difficult. We had to make the decision if the three of us would continue as a band. We thought ‘why not?’. We’ve got something to give.

"It’s absolutely amazing. We owe a lot to our fans. We came back in 2005 no knowing what it would be like, whether we’d have fans."

Howard also spoke about last weekend’s reunion with Robbie during the X Factor final.

Viewers questioned why Robbie was in same outfit as presenter Dermot O’Leary, but it was all part of an elaborate plan as he jumped up on stage with former bandmates Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard.

After singing Shine as a threesome, they switched to Everything Changes as Robbie headed up and grabbed a microphone.

Howard said: "It was fantastic. Take That is a three piece, we’ve always said the door is always open for Robbie or Jason to come back anytime they want and sing. It feels quite natural."

*Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV at 12.30pm
