I'm A Celebrity 2021 – Fans FURIOUS as Naughty Boy given 'stupidly easy' trial sparking claims show is getting boring

BORED I'm A Celebrity fans are convinced the show is FIXED after Naughty Boy's latest Bushtucker Trial.

Naughty, 40, faced the latest horror – titled Savage Steakout – alongside soap icons Simon Gregson and Adam Woodyatt, bringing back eleven stars.

Many fans were convinced the trial was "too easy" and took to social media to complain that they may have been simplified for the record producer.

"It is just me or are Naughty Boy's trials always a bit easy?" one woman wrote, as a second chimed in: "Another really easy trial for Naughty Boy."

"ITV are deliberately making Naughty Boy's trial very easy so he doesn't leave – he keeps getting the easy ones," a third person pointed out.

    Danny Miller opens up

The soap star has opened up about overcoming crippling anxiety and depression.

The I’m A Celeb star, 30, said that at its worst he suffered from panic attacks on the set of Emmerdale.

And he eventually decided to see a doctor who prescribed him medication to help get things back on track.

Opening up bravely about his ordeal in a bid to explain why it’s important for men to seek help he said: “What I do now if I’m anxious, I tell people. The more you’re open and the more you’re honest people go ‘what are you anxious about? You’re fine it’s ok’ and then you go ‘yeah it’s ok.”

New dad Danny, who is emerging as one of the favourites to triumph on the ITV1 show, talked in candid detail about overcoming his past troubles in a chat on the Ask Ross podcast.

He said: “Sometimes I would be on set and just break out in sweat and then it makes you even more anxious to the point where it puts you towards a panic attack.”

    Odds slashed

Naughty Boy's odds of winning I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! have been slashed overnight by Ladbrokes.

Having been as big as 20/1 before Thursday night's episode, the bookies now make the DJ just 6/1 in the betting to be crowned King of Gwrych Castle, meaning just four celebs are currently more likely to win the series.

David Ginola continues to lead the way at 2/1, with Frankie Bridge being the new second-favourite as things stand at 4/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Naughty Boy is slowly but surely winning fans over and having once been a rank outsider to win this year's I'm A Celebrity, he's now considered a genuine contender for the crown."

      I’m A Celeb blunder

FRANKIE Bridge endured the latest I'm a Celebrity trial last night – which saw her having to down fermented eggs and pig anus.

The 32-year-old managed to smash the task alongside Naughty Boy, with them bringing back 10 out of 11 stars for the camp.

But despite being one of the star's of the episode, Frankie was later labelled as Louise Minchin in an on-screen blunder – which her husband Wayne, 41, was quick to mock.

Posting to Frankie's Instagram account, he shared a snap of his wife in the Telegraph with the banner 'Louise Minchin, Broadcaster and Ex BBC Breakfast host'.

He posted a laughing emoji and wrote: "Erm… Louise looks a bit different tonight."

And fans took to social media to react to the mistake, with one writing: "So evidently Louise and Frankie have spent so much time together, the producers can no longer tell them apart…"

      EastEnders fans shocked

Dean Gaffney  spoke on Good Morning Britain today and said he had been watching Adam – who plays Ian Beale on EastEnders – taking part in the horrendous Bushtucker Trials along with Coronation Street's Simon Gregson and Emmerdale's Danny Miller.

But when asked by presenters Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard who he wanted to win, he surprised them by saying: "Adam is obviously a lovely guy, but it’s really hard for me.

"I’ve got an affiliation with all three of the soap actors in there. Danny Miller is one of my best friends, Adam obviously I’ve worked with on and off for 30 years.

"And Simon Gregson I know through one of my good friends Simon Thomas and he’s really lovely.

"So actually it’s really hard, who I want to win this year."

GMB host Ben refused to let him sit on the fence, saying: "So where are you going to go? Come on who’s getting your vote?"

And Dean begrudgingly replied: "As much, as much, as as much as I love Adam, and I’ve worked with Adam, Danny Miller is one of my best friends, so I’m going to have to say Danny."

      ‘Disturbing’ trial ‘went too far’

Fans were left concerned for Frankie Bridge after she broke down in tears and was seen shaking after taking part in last night's gruelling trial.

The singer, 32, and Naughty Boy were picked by the public to do Scary-oke, which saw them covered in gunge and drinking vile concoctions.

The pair had to be covered in blankets as the trial took place as they were seen violently shaking from the cold.

The move prompted those watching at home to say ITV bosses had ‘gone too far’.

One person wrote: “Never thought I'd say it but this was to disturbing to watch. Seeing Frankie suffer and shiver as she did was too much. There is no reason to put anyone thru that. Borderline brutality. I could not watch! Shame on you.”

A second added:  “I thought it was horrible how frankie was clearly shivering on top of everything else bless her.”

The I’m A Celebrity disaster is only redeemed by the Naughty bits

This is a comment piece by Ally Ross

FRANKIE didn’t go to Hollywood then.

She went up the A55, turned left on to the North Wales Expressway for Gwrych Castle and sat there, freezing her whatsits off, until Storm Arwen arrived and she had to be evacuated to her Covid bubble.

There she waited and waited and waited while probably contemplating a Saturdays reunion tour and her role in one of the year’s biggest TV disasters.

Series 21 of I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here! (The Crystal Maze years). A show I’ve grown old and grumpy waiting for it to be as brilliant as it was back in the Noughties, when they used to fill it with genuine sociopaths like David Van Day, Janice Dickinson, Darren Day, Rhona Cameron, Nigel Benn and John Lydon.

I gave up on this run, however, way back in August, when ITV announced they weren’t returning to Australia.

That should also have been the moment, of course, the network told their accountants to get lost and mothballed the show until they could provide Ant & Dec with the backdrop their performance actually deserves.

      Wail of a time

I'M A Celebrity viewers were all saying the same thing tonight as Naughty Boy and Frankie Bridge murdered a string of pop hits while doing a sickening singing trial.

Both stars have made a career creating catchy hit music but viewers expected more vocal ability from the pair tonight.

Reflecting on the pair's performance, one fan said: "Frankie struggling with the singing at much as the drinking…."

Another wrote: "So naughty boy is a music producer??? Sounds like me singing in the friggin shower."

A third said: "Omg the singing is awful @imacelebrity would of expected more!"

      'Disturbing'

I'M A Celebrity viewers are all saying the same thing after Danny Miller revealed he watched David Ginola sleeping.

The two have taken on the role of the Lords of the castle and are currently sharing a bed together.

After their first night together the soap star couldn't contain his excitement about sharing a bed, and even confessed he watched the footballer sleep.

One joked: "The next season of You but it’s Danny and David."

A second said: "Danny calm down you are getting over exited about David."

"This is getting quite disturbing now Danny," a third added.

Fans complain after last night's trial

Fans all had the same complaint over the drinking challenge with Naughty Boy and Frankie Bridge yesterday – but did you spot it?

While one of them had to sing while disgusting things were thrown at them on stage, the other had to down a gruesome blended drink.

They had to enjoy a selection of vile things including vomit fruit, goat brain, deer’s testicle, sheep's penis and frog's legs.

Frankie and Naughty Boy did amazingly well and managed to win a possible 10 out of 11 stars.

But many viewers of the ITV show took to Twitter to complain that they were both absolutely freezing while doing the trial.

One tweeted: "This task is just really crap seeing them stood shivering to death. Not nice #ImACeleb."

A second said: "Naughtyboy and Frankie seem like they are shivering whilst doing the trial they must be freezing!!!"

Plane flies over the castle with huge banner saying ‘Danny Miller to win’

crew were thrown into a panic today after a plane flew over Gwrych Castle with a huge banner that said "Danny Miller to win".

Fans of the Emmerdale star organised the prank but thankfully the celebs inside the castle in North Wales were non-the-wiser.

A source told The Sun: "Nobody has any idea who was behind the prank, but fortunately the campmates were inside the castle and didn't see it.

"It's part of the show that they're cut off from the outside world and don't have any idea who is popular with viewers – it was a close call."

      Fix row

Fans are beginning to get frustrated with how 'easy' Naught Boy's trials are becoming.

The show is facing a fix row after fans pointed out a HUGE flaw in Naughty Boy's latest Bushtucker Trial.

The music producer almost quit the show a number of times before the celebs were evacuated from Gwrych Castle over the weekend due to Storm Arwen.

Naughty, 40, decided to stay after seeing success in the Creepy Closet trial last week, and was since nominated for another trial on Wednesday night.

Many fans were convinced the trial was "too easy" and took to social media to complain that they may have been simplified for the producer.

"It is just me or are Naughty Boy's trials always a bit easy?" one woman wrote, as a second chimed in: "Another really easy trial for Naughty Boy."

"ITV are deliberately making Naughty Boy's trial very easy so he doesn't leave – he keeps getting the eays ones," a third person pointed out.

Arlene Phillips dreaded taking kids to school because she was ‘older mum’

Dame Arlene Phillips has said she dreaded taking her four-year-old daughter to school because she was often confused with being her grandmother.

The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! campmates were reunited after extreme weather conditions during Storm Arwen caused production difficulties at Gwrych Castle in North Wales.

Discussing motherhood while sat around a campfire, the former Strictly Come Dancing judge said: “My daughter Abi, I remember dreading, absolutely dreading taking her to school age four and having to explain, ‘No, I’m her mother not her grandmother’. I was 47 when I had her.

“When I went to mother and baby class in Primrose Hill my obstetrician came up and whispered – I can never forget this – he kneeled down and said: ‘Have no fear it will get better because you really should be a grandmother, so you’re going to have to find ways to understand how to be a mother again.’

“Why it hurt so much was because having a baby naturally at 47 and thinking it was the menopause for four, five months… I can’t be pregnant, why am I so sick?”

Frankie Bridge’s mind ‘blown’ after Arlene makes admission

Fellow campmate Frankie Bridge said later: “Arlene was talking about the fact that she always felt a little bit self-conscious at school with her daughter because she was an older mum.

“And it just blows my mind that that was ever an issue for her.

“The fact that she’s here, she’s 78, going through all of this with us, she’s still dancing around and I imagine back then she was exactly the same.

“I get where she’s coming from but I don’t think she’s got anything to worry about.”

Danny Miller steered clear of treats and even slept on floor when in quarantine

Emmerdale’s Danny Miller insisted he steered clear of treats and even continued to sleep on the floor, much to the surprise of his co-stars.

He said: “I decided to stick to the rice and beans because I got myself into that routine, it was hard but I didn’t want to undo all that work and starve my body again.”

Louise Minchin & Dan Walker supportive of each other

It's clear they support each other in their respective careers, with Louise encouraging her social media followers to vote for Dan in Strictly Come Dancing.

But, as is protocol for I'm a Celeb, Louise couldn't tell Dan she was moving into the castle this year. She said: "I didn’t tell Dan Walker I was doing I’m A Celebrity before coming to Wales but I don’t think he will be surprised.

"He knows me well and I think he will be both excited and nervous for me. I have been voting for him on Strictly so fingers crossed he will vote for me a lot."

Dan reacted to the news on social media, promising his "phone bill is going to be enormous".

Louise even has hilarious nicknames for the two of them: Little and Large – but Dan is Little!

      Inside I’m a Celeb’s Louise Minchin’s friendship with Strictly's Dan Walker

THEY'RE taking part in rival reality shows right now – but there's no denying the friendship between Louise Minchin and Dan Walker.

Louise, 53, and Dan, 44, hosted BBC Breakfast together for six years before she quit in September after two decades on the programme – something Dan compared to a break-up.

As Dan took to the Strictly dancefloor for the first time weeks later, he showed just how close the pair are when he dedicated his performance to Louise.

After his debut dance, host Claudia Winkleman said: "You wanted to dedicate that dance to someone very special…"

Dan replied: "Yes, I've got a new breakfast sofa partner but that was actually for Louise Minchin.

"Any Breakfast viewer will know that Louise left the sofa last week, hopefully she's watching – Louise that was for you, we miss you, we love you and we wish you all the best away from the sofa."

But Louise had her own surprise for Dan, appearing on a VT to say: "Hi Dan, I cannot believe that you dedicated your first dance on Strictly to me – thank you so much.

"I really miss you on the BBC Breakfast sofa but I'm so excited because I will watch you every Saturday night on Strictly, I think you're going to be amazing, good luck, go for it and have fun.

Simon Gregson: ‘I was beaten up & spat on after joining Corrie’

I’M A Celebrity’s Simon Gregson has revealed the shocking abuse he received in the street after joining the cast of Coronation Street.

Opening up to his campmates, the actor said he was physically attacked, spat at and had abuse hollered at him by viewers.

Simon said: “It was difficult for a while to adjust. It’s like, ‘This isn’t what I planned for myself and I do not like it’.”

Shocked, fellow I’m A Celeb star Kadeena Cox asked if he really didn’t like it.

“I hated it!” he said. “The fame side of it, I hated. It was really negative feedback, getting beaten up, spat at, property being damaged.”

As his campmates gasped, Simon added: “It was shocking.”

Simon was then shown talking in the Telegraph, where he said: “I was never a fan of the limelight, but it turned out nice in the end.

“I’m here in a castle eating rice and beans!”

Simon landed the part of Steve McDonald in 1989 and he has played the hapless character ever since.

      Secret HAND-WARMERS

THE I’M A Celebrity campmates will be secretly given handwarmers after their return to the castle.

Bosses tasked production staff with finding quick-heating ‘beanbags’, which will be hidden in hessian sacks so they blend into the background of the Grade I listed ruins.

A source said: “Bosses know this is a programme where there’s an expectation from the viewers that the celebs aren’t in a holiday camp.

“But equally they have a duty of care to them, particularly the older, more vulnerable contestants.

“Not everyone will choose to use a heater, but they are there if they are wanted.”

News of the hand-warmers come after we told of the castle’s secret supply of hot water to keep the campers happy.

Boris Johnson savaged by Ant and Dec

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have aimed a jibe at Boris Johnson.

The comedy duo mocked the Prime Minister in the first few minutes of the ITV show.

Appearing live from Gwrych Castle in North Wales, the Geordie duo announced to viewers that there were new lords of the camp, after soap stars Adam Woodyatt and Simon Gregson stepped down from the roles.

Ant and Dec took their chance to have another dig at the UK's leader.

Ant said: "Big news! You’ve elected a new camp leader."

Dec replied with a question: "Exciting stuff…but what exactly though does the leader do?"

Ant took aim at Boris with his answer, saying: "Well, they look increasingly dishevelled, give cushy jobs to their mates and pretty much make it up as they go along."

Dec then leaned towards the camera, and grinning, he said: "Evening Prime Minister."

      Dec’s David Ginola impression

I’M A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! fans were left giggling last night after Declan Donnelly did yet another funny impersonation of David Ginola.

Football legend David had just completed a funny task with Louise Minchin when Dec tried his hand at some more French during a segment with Ant McPartlin.

But rather than speak fluently in the language, he proceeded to throw in random words while Ant addressed the viewers at home in English.

These even included “Arc de Triomphe” and “Renault Clio”.

Taking to Twitter, fans were quick to share their amusement at Dec’s attempt.

One tweeted: “Dec’s French is jokes lol #ImACeleb.”

Another mused: “Dec’s French is as good as mine!”

A third admitted: “Dec saying random French words in a mock David Ginola accent is funnier than it probably should be!”

      Danny Miller over the moon

Viewers were in hysteric tonight as Danny Miller fantasised about sharing a bed with footballing hero David Ginola.

The Emmerdale star was voted the new camp deputy leader while Frenchman David was made top dog.

The duo will replace soap stars Adam Woodyatt and Simon Gregson in the roles and adopt their privileges.

One of which was sleeping in their own comfy bed.

A grinning Danny said: "This for me is the best thing that could have happened in camp. I'm really tying to play it down out there because I want to be a man of the people."

He said to the ex Spurs ace in the bedroom: "This is a dream come true for me, David. Me and you in the same bed, I could cry."

Viewers all have the same complaint

I'M A Celeb viewers were left baffled by the contestants "fake" reunion after the campmates returned to the castle after three days away.

The series had to pull scheduled trips to the castle after Storm Arwen wreaked devastation on production facilities in North Wales.

On Wednesday's episode, ITV viewers finally saw the campmates reunite after they were forced to take a short break from the castle.

However, fans were quick to point out that the contestants were being overly friendly despite only knowing each other for one week.

One sceptical viewer wrote: "They are all being incredibly fake. #ImACeleb"

Another agreed: "Everyone is fake best mates b****cks in the castle. #ImACeleb"

Viewers shocked by Frankie Bridge’s very X-rated gift

Viewers were left gobsmacked after Frankie Bridge revealed a very X-rated gift she gave to husband Wayne.

The 32-year-old star told her fellow campmates that she got her hubby a cast of her perky posterior.

After re-entering the castle on Tuesday following Storm Arwen, the contestants were getting reacquainted and the topic of conversation took a cheeky turn.

The Saturdays popstar revealed that she got the personalised gift made after her husband joked that he wanted a cast of her bum.

Frankie said: "I got Wayne a cast of my a**.

Kadeena Cox replied: "Did he appreciate it?"

"Yeah, he used to say it as a joke back when he was playing football and he used to say, I just want a cast of your a**.

"So one year I was like fine."
