I’m A Celebrity 2019 rumoured start date and is Ant McPartlin returning?

I'M A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is back on our screens this autumn and fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the official start date.

Here's everything we know about the upcoming jungle series so far…

When is I'm a Celebrity 2019 on TV?

I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will return this autumn, however, ITV is yet to announce an official start date.

But ITV Entertainment and Comedy Publicity Manager, Gary Smith, has told The Sun the transmission date will be revealed during the week of October 28.

I'm A Celebrity, which is one of the channel's most popular productions and always brings in millions of viewers, usually starts at the end of November and runs for three weeks.

If it follows the previous format and length fans can expect this year's jungle king or queen to be crowned around mid-December.

This would evidently mean that the show could start on Sunday, November 17, as last year's series began on Sunday, November 18.

The year before the last, I'm A Celebrity commenced on November 19.

Are Ant and Dec hosting I'm a Celebrity?

Yes they are! The dynamic duo will be heading back to the jungle together after Ant missed the 2018 show.

Ant,  43, took a break last year to deal with his demons in the wake of a drink-driving conviction and his admission that he had been battling alcohol and prescription drug addictions.

Holly Willoughby took his place but this year he will be back beside Dec.

In July 2019 the pair shared a photo of themselves looking like they lived in the Aussie outback to show that they are back together on I'm A Celeb.

Who won I'm A Celebrity 2018?

Harry Redknapp was voted King of the Jungle on I'm A Celebrit 2018.

He was crowned champion on December 9, 2018, beating Emily Atack and John Barrowman.

The football manager was the favourite to win the show after his stories about wife Sandra.
