Kim Tate (Claire King) is left stunned in upcoming Emmerdale scenes, when Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) comes waltzing back into her life.

Will, as viewers know, absconded several weeks ago, after he confessed to Kim that he’d buried the corpse of DI Malone on her land.

Feeling used and betrayed, Kim threatened to call the police, forcing Will to swiftly leave the village. Little did he know, however, that Kim had no intention of contacting the authorities.

A lot has transpired in the weeks since his departure – namely Andrea Tate’s (Anna Nightingale) demise.

Kim organises a memorial service for her former daughter-in-law in upcoming scenes, and the above clip – taken from Thursday’s (November 4) edition of the ITV soap – sees her attempting to read Millie a story before the service.

Millie, however, is not enjoying it, reminding her gran that it’s a book Andrea used to read to her.

Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) offers to help Millie get ready, leaving Kim alone for a moment of contemplation, as she stares at a photo of Jamie (Alexander Lincoln).

But suddenly, the door bangs – and in walks Will!

The former lovers hold each other’s gaze for a moment.

‘Wasn’t sure I’d ever see you again,’ she says.

Will is seemingly back in time for Andrea’s memorial, but will he be sticking around?

Emmerdale airs these scenes Thursday November 4 at 7pm on ITV.
