The Chase fans were lost for words after one stunning contestant warned Chaser Shaun Wallace she’d “knock him out” during a tense head-to-head round.
During Tuesday’s visit (May 23) to the ITV studios, the 62-year-old welcomed four new quizzers onto the programme where they put their general knowledge to the test.
As fans tuned in for the primetime show, the former Coronation Street star introduced contestants Terri, Diego, Claire and Jack to battle it out to take home the all-important cash prize.

This week the quartet were up against Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace who made sure to bring his A game as he faced off against the wise quizheads.
And the former Mastermind winner didn’t go easy on the team, with the 62-year-old easily eliminating two contestants without breaking a sweat.
The third person up next to the podium was the Manchester-native who dazzled viewers at home with her natural beauty.
But she quickly proved she has brains and beauty as she raked in an impressive £7,000 on her nail-biting cash builder round.
The blonde bombshell looked slightly nervous when Shaun walked on stage, but she certainly didn't hold back on the fighting talk.
As Shaun sat down in his chair, he jokingly warned she would be the next contestant to be eliminated, saying: "Hello Claire, right I'm going to knock you out."
Thinking he was talking about a physical fight, Claire shockingly replied: "Well, I'll knock you out!"
Bradley reassured her: "He doesn't mean physically, he means in the game. [As if you said] 'I'll knock you out!'"
The presenter then jokingly imitated fellow presenter Harry Hill as he shouted "FIGHT!" like the comic used to do on his TV show, Harry Hill's TV Burp.
Unfortunately, Claire wasn't good enough to outsmart the Chaser and was sent home after a gruelling round.

Luckily, her teammates Jack and Diego managed to make it through to the final round with £15,000 in their jackpot.
After a tense final round with just 14 correct answers given, the pair managed to push Shaun back four times and happily went home with £7,500 in their pockets.
