Holly Willoughby caught in This Morning wardrobe blunder as fans left baffled

Holly Willoughby has revealed she had to have a last minute clothing change before hosting This Morning on Tuesday.

The presenter usually shares a snap on Instagram of her outfit for the day before settling down on the sofa alongside her co-presenter Phillip Schofield.

On Tuesday (4 October) she looked glam in a short black skirt, tights, heels and a high-necked black and white patterned top, with her blonde hair pulled back.

But eagle-eyed fans spotted that she was in a different shirt when the ITV show actually got under way.

Instead of the monochrome top, Holly had on a gorgeous black one covered in little red flowers.

"Did you spill something, this isn't the same one you are wearing now?" one fan asked on Instagram.

In a second snap of her getting her make-up done, Holly then explained that she'd had a bit of a wardrobe blunder so had to do a quick switch before dashing on to the set.

"Last minute top change… had a strobing issue," the 41-year-old beauty told fans.

However, Holly's followers said she would look good in just about anything.

"Still looks good," said one fan of the mum-of-three.

Another chimed in: "Gorgeous in both Holl."

"Holly you always look good in whatever you wear, love your top," said someone else.

One viewer admitted: "I thought it was different to the photo I liked earlier, when you came on TV!"

"Realities of telly eh," said another fan. "Prefer this top actually, it is gorgeous!!"

"Hope you didn't miss your cue?" asked someone else.

Others said they could see that Holly's earlier checked top might have looked a bit funny under the lights and cameras.

"Even in the earlier photo it strobes, can't imagine how bad it was on TV," said one.
