However, it’s not just Harry Redknapp who is celebrating a windfall after a host of the show’s fans won big at the bookies thanks to him.
Viewers of the ITV reality show who placed bets on the retired football manager being crowned King of the Jungle have won over £10million at the bookmakers.
Just hours after entering the Australian camp last month, the 71-year-old quickly became the bookies’ favourite to win the show after a flurry of bets.
BookmakersTV have now reported 53 per cent of betting slips on the show named Harry to win the series, with viewers placing £5million on the East Londoner.
A spokesperson told The Sun Online: "The public can’t get enough of ‘Arry. He’s the most popular contestant of all time by quite some distance.

"His supporters will be quids in at the expense of the bookies and not for the first time."
Earlier on Sunday in the hours leading up to the final, Harry had 1/8 odds of winning with Paddypower, Ladbrokes and Sky Bet.
However, John Barrowman and Emily Atack were widely bet to be second and third place respectively, when it turned out to be the other way round.
Before the show started on 18 November, Harry was 12/1 to win the show, with his odds shortening as the programme progressed.
