Good Morning Britain star Charlotte Hawkins is covering for Ranvir Singh – leaving one co-star shocked.

The ITV relief host joined Ben Shephard for Friday morning's show, which Kate Garraway usually hosts, but it seems the ITV team thought it would be Ranvir in the hot seat.

Ranvir appeared on the show to step in for Susanna Reid on Thursday and it was expected that she would be joining Ben once again on Friday, but fans had a shock.

Charlotte instead took up the seat as she discussed the top news and headlines alongside the Tipping Point host – but Andi Peters was left baffled as he appeared on the show.

The shock came as Andi joined the studio to flog the latest competition prize, which is £300,000, after flogging it for the show in Majorca.

Andi told the hosts: "I bought you back a present from Majorca. It's olive oil from an olive grove which was right next to where I was staying, I picked the olives myself.

"They pressed it straight away for you! This one was for Ranvir, but she's not here. You snooze, you lose! There we go Charlotte."

Andi handed the bottle to Charlotte and she certainly seemed happy that her co-star was unable to come into work today as she received the little treat.
