Furious Tipping Point fans blast ITV as show is REPLACED in schedule shake-up | The Sun

TIPPING Point fans have been left horrified after the show was replaced with Fastest Finger First on ITV this afternoon.

The programme, hosted by Ben Shephard, has become a staple of ITV's weekly schedule and has quickly grown itself an overwhelmingly loyal fanbase.

However, those tuning in to get their fix of the machine on Monday were soon left ridiculing the broadcaster for replacing their favourite programme.

In its place was Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? spin-off Fastest Finger First, hosted by Anita Rani.

As the name suggests, it will expand on the first round of Millionaire where contestants have to put the answers to a multiple choice question in a specific order.

Five contestants have to put their answers to a multiple-choice question in a specific order.

The two players with the biggest score at the end of the round then go head-to-head.

Whoever is in the seat when the klaxon sounds gets fast-tracked to sit opposite Jeremy Clarkson in the Millionaire hot seat.

It means the two shows will sit neatly together.

Despite the new programme intriguing some, Tipping Point fans have blasted the new show.

Taking to Twitter, one person fumed: "Fastest Finger First is terrible. An absolute pointless game show. Fuming that it's replaced Tipping Point."

Echoing their comments, someone else vented: "Just watched Fastest Finger First – total Millionaire overkill. Bring back Tipping Point!"

While a third remarked: "Fastest Finger First is the most boring load of s*** I've ever seen. ITV are seriously scraping the barrel."

Tipping Point will return to ITV on Monday, September 5.
