SERIAL killer Meena Jutla has a taste for theatrics and will put it to good use during her trial.
The Emmerdale villain is determined to walk free from her crimes next week.
Once more with a lot of bad feelings, Meena (played by actress Paige Sandhu) will put her best foot forward during her trial to escape justice once again.
A skilled manipulator, she uses her best tactics and charms a prison officer.
In upcoming scenes of the long-running ITV soap, the criminal is grateful to see her charm offensive pays off as the officer slips her a chocolate bar as well as a smuggled newspaper.
She's even more pleased with herself when she realises she has captured the world's attention – Meena sees herself on the front cover of the newspaper.
With another nasty trick up her sleeve, she decides she'll put on a show-stopping performance in court as she finds out one of her relatives will be a key witness during her trial.
After a lot of mental turmoil, Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) decides to testify and accepts Ethan Anderson's (Emile John) help.
Ethan helps the GP brace herself for the defence's interrogation – but Manpreet is still worried as she knows her younger sister will be more than happy to publicly destroy her.
Her worries are even more confirmed when she finds out that Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson) has been called as a witness for the defence.

But Wendy is just as terrified and, soon, her and Manpreet discuss the pressure of their roles in the upcoming trial.
Meanwhile in her prison cell, Meena is all fired-up and savours the thought of facing her sister the following day.
Meena has already tried to take Manpreet down with her by accusing the Emmerdale GP of murdering Andrea Tate – her direct rival as the later character was once vicar Charles Anderson's partner.
But ITV viewers know that Manpreet can only blame herself for lying to the police about Liam Cavanagh acting in self-defence when confronting Meena.
He was actually trying to get rid of her in a blind rage over his daughter's murder.
Manpreet was also held hostage alongside Vinny Dingle during the festive period, drugged and threatened with murder and her trauma has been a shadow over her head ever since.
Before deciding to bravely face her worst fears, Manpreet decided to remain silent, refusing to testify against Meena.
